Research shows a sharp decline in physical activity for youth during adolescence, and increased weight gain during idle summers. At the Y, a kid’s development is never on vacation! Each summer, over 12,000 campers from New York City adventure across the city, learning and exploring everything from sports and swimming to arts and culture.

The Y is committed to keeping kids active by introducing them to healthy habits that will last a lifetime. This knowledge empowers the next generation of New Yorkers to build healthier, stronger, more connected communities.

This year, the Y is joining forces with the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition and Hip Hop Public Health 501c3 to help kids accelerate their journey to healthy living! Join us at Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 29 as we go #0to60 and charge into an active summer.
